Skills Database
Skills Database
We understand that whānau live away for many reasons and that the distance between whānau and marae can grow over time. The impacts of a global pandemic have also added further barriers to coming home and connecting. We also acknowledge that whānau may be searching for a starting point to connect and we hope that this platform may provide an opportunity of new beginnings.
The Skills Database is designed to support whānau who live locally, nationally and internationally!
The skills you have could be contributed remotely or onsite.
You may be a web developer, a finance guru, planning specialist, tradesperson, artist, professional, volunteer, education or health worker …. don’t think, “what could I possibly offer?”, just register your interest, what you do and any aspirations you may want to explore for the marae.
Your details will be held confidentially by the marae committee where they may contact you if there is a match/need for your skills however, you are under no obligation to accept.
